![]() ![]() The game will not recognize each package file as an individual, separate file, in that case. ![]() I'm wondering if you are copying the adult package file and importing the tweaked meshes into the copied files. You'll want to make sure your cut numbers are the same as the EA cloned mesh you are replacing, of course, and you'll want to be sure your sorting layers are correct so that the game knows which parts of the hair to render and when to render them.Īgain, I've never converted a hair before, and I don't know if this will help, but I've had Sims 3 child and toddler hairs that were dependant on the adult hair-the child and toddler hairs would not show up if the adult hair wasn't in the game. Once you're in Blender you might need to change the joint assignments and/or mess with the weight paint a little, though weight painting just affects how much a mesh part is altered or morphs during animations. Changing the age category in Sims4Studio will make it so that the resulting blend file is combined with a child or toddler model which, of course, helps with the sizing and placement of the mesh while in Blender, but that's about it. I've never converted a hair before (It's on my ever-growing to-do list of things to learn, lol) Not sure if you've done this part, but you need to start with a cloned EA child hair or toddler hair then import a modified mesh and textures as usual.
